David is one of the founder members of the Bowyer Family Memorial Trust. He is the son of Charles Edward Bowyer and the grandson of John William Bowyer.
He is a Vice President of the Royal Forest Agricultural Association, The Berkshire Federation of Young Farmers and The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society. A Life Member of the Suffolk Horse Society, the Cotswold Cart Horse Society and the Aberdeen Angus Society. Also a member of various other Agricultural Associations.
David has been a Farmer all his life, as were his father and grandfather before him. He still uses one of his large collection of tractors each day, still farming in his 80s!
His hobbies revolve around the various Agricultural Associations, and in addition to shooting and fly-fishing, he is a ploughing judge for both horse and tractor ploughing.
